Established in 1997, Dr.Franklin’s Panchakarma Institute is a unique Centre for Ayurveda, Yoga & Meditation . It was started by Dr. V. Franklin, formerly chief district medical officer of Government of Kerala. It is approved with “Green Leaf” certification by Govt. of Kerala.
Dr. Franklin's quest for understanding the ocean of knowledge on Ayurveda led him to travel wide into the interior parts of the land and to live with many renowned physicians in and around Kerala to understand the undocumented horizons of Ayurveda.
The therapeutic crew consists of 52 qualified and expert Ayurvedic therapists and 7 Ayurvedic Doctors who work under the guidance of Dr. V. Franklin (Chief Physician) and Dr. Sony Joseph (Managing Director). The Yoga expert Master Soorya Ravi who is the Secretary of the Yoga Teachers Association, South India, handles the Yoga & Meditation sessions. The centre located at Chowara (South Kovalam) just 18 Km away from the Trivandrum International Airport (TRV).

The resort has 25 eloquent room. Standard Room A/C is spacious double bedded room with wooden floor, on suite bathroom with bathtub , patio for each room, communal garden , television and telephone facilities, 24 Hour Room Service. Complimentary access to the swimming pool.
